"We stayed at "Home Sweet Home" for 1 month. We had a wonderful time enjoying the amazing view and all the updates at the cabin. We loved all the amenities in the kitchen, new blinds in living room, new fans in both main floor bedrooms, new landscaping in front yard, and the list goes on. Watching movies on the 75" TV downstairs was a treat too! We would also suggest a kayak trip down the river just a 15 minute drive from the house or the Saturday morning Farmers' Market in West Jefferson. Thank you for a wonderful stay at your cabin!!"

"This is our second visit to this house. You cannot beat the view!! Absolutely gorgeous!!! We are a group of 5 families and the size of this house accommodates us perfectly. We love the back deck, gazebo and the firepit!! The management company is extremely easy to reach and have great follow through. They gave us an ample amount of starter supplies (toilet paper, hand soaps, dishwashing tabs/liquid, firewood, firestarter, etc.). We loved our trip!!"

"A Home Sweet Home was a great place to spend a week! Mountain views are fantastic from the windows, decks and while relaxing around the fire pit in the evenings -- you could not believe the sunsets. We have fires every night so when I asked about firewood Stacey arranged for a truckload to be delivered and stacked before our arrival and it was good burning wood. We had 10 kids and 9 adults so we exceeded the stated sleeping capacity but with the little kids everything worked out fine. Kitchen was well stocked with pots & pans & all the things needed to prepare meals for 19 several times a day. The table is really the perfect size for this house especially with the bench seating and kids! The side yard gazebo was relaxing. A great place to vacation with a large family! Stacey was very helpful and responsive to every email & telephone call -- he went over and above by arranging for firewood to be delivered in advance -- I wish he handled my rentals in Myrtle Beach!"

The only suggestion for the kitchen would possibly be a bigger garbage can. Everything was wonderful and the set up is perfect. The reservation staff was wonderful. We had never rented a home like this before so we had quite a few questions and they answered them all with no problem. We worked with Stacey Hamilton when renting this property and he was very helpful and informative. We had a wonderful time and had a weekend with great friends that we will never forget. "This property was outstanding. It was extremely comfortable and had views that were amazingly beautiful. The game room was very nice and provided great entertainment. The kitchen was huge and had a ton of counter space to prepare meals. The living room furniture was super comfortable and layed out nicely. The fire pit is perfectly positioned next to the house and we gathered around it each night. The gas grill on the porch was in great shape and worked great also. We used the hot tub one night and it was nice also. This was one of my favorite vacations of all time and this property played a large part in that. Stacey Hamilton has always been very helpful and easy to work with. This is the 2nd time I've rented from Stacey and I have no reason to go any place else."

It was fun to do these outdoor activities. The rooms were very attractive, the space was ample. The kids enjoyed the pool table, and we all enjoyed the hot tub, which we were careful with and tested daily. The view was terrific, and we liked the location on top of the hill. We really enjoyed having the extra large dining room table and the kitchen was really nice to work in. The overhead lighting in the great room was nice and bright, but we could have used a small reading light. There was a small lamp in the corner, but it wasn't adequate for reading.
Overall, it was a great place to eat, sew and sleep! Very good experience with reserving on line and paying deposit and final payment with credit card. Thank you!"
